"Whatever you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give to you," says the Lord.
The Vilatte Society Circle of Prayers is really a pretty simple idea; we each pray for each others' special intentions and needs.
As members of the Vilatte Society Circle of Prayers, we have a network of spiritual friends who are willing to join us in our prayers so that together we storm heaven begging for help. If one person's prayer to God the Father is good and useful, surely the prayers of many of us together will demonstrate the importance of our special need and together we will petition God for an answer.
Of course, we know that sometimes we do not know what is really best for us or for a particular situation and so we must simply trust that God our heavenly Father will answer our prayers in our best interest. Jesus promised that God hears us and if we ask in his name, the Father will answer our prayer.
So, how does this Circle of Prayer work? Really simply.
1) We just email our intention to the Society's Prayer Mailbox. Our intention will rest in the mailbox until the end of the current month.
2) Each member of the Vilatte Society Circle of Prayers prays the Our Father or another one of his/her favorite prayers each day for the intention of all members. The member is also asked to offer another special prayer or sacrifice at least once a day for the intentions in the Society's Prayer Mailbox.
3) Priest members of the Vilatte Society Circle of Prayers are asked to make a special remembrance of the intentions in the Society's Prayer Mailbox every time they Celebrate the Eucharist (that is, every time they "say Mass").
Prayer requests may be emailed to: CircleOfPrayers@vilatte.org
Requests for Prayers of Thanksgiving for favors received may be sent to the
same email box.
